It is with a heavy heart but with gratitude to almighty Allah that i write this for a life well spent.Am talking about the life of (senator) Tahir Hassan Zakari a patriot to the core whose life was cut short by the twin car bombings of 1st oct 2010.Nigeria was suppose to be celebrating its 50 yrs anniversary of independence on that day sadly,that incident reminded us of the state of the nation. The question i always ask is WHY WILL A CITIZEN TAKE UP ARMS AGAINST HIS OWN COUNTRY?. I am a strong beleiver in the doctrine of peaceful change for history has shown that violence has never succeeded in solving a problem rather it agreviates problems.but the underlying social injustice bedevelling our nation today has made peaceful change almost imposible hence the violent upheavals we are having today in form of religious fundamentalism like BOKO HARAM or miltancy and rebellion eg MEND.
