My fellow compatriots,

I write to you as the leader of over 150 million people and also as a human being who understands the effects of injustice.
I know that your anger derives from the Killing of your Leader Mohammed Yusuf. I want to promise you that does responsible will be brought to Book in the next three months.
The chairman of my Party the PDP has said that your course if to fight for justice, the question to ask is How can you be killing innocent people in the name of justice? Are you then also not guilty of the same offence you are accusing the security Agencies of perpetrating?

Am writing not to apportion blame but accept responsibility even though I was not the President when your leader was killed. As I have said before your organization has infiltrated my Government so am sure they are reporting my plans for you.

The development and progress we desire as a people cannot be achieved in a state of insecurity and Anarchy. My national security Adviser NSA has blamed the politics of my party as one of the reasons why your members are angry with government.
I want to assure you that if you can cease fire for 3 months,Government will reciprocate such goodwill by granting pardon to all your members who have been incarcerated. If the Attacks ceases I will ensure that genuine dialogue is started between me and your leaders to ensure that all your grievance are addressed.
On a final note I will ensure that the justice Uwais panels recommendations are implemented within the stipulated 3 months to prevent anybody from taking the political system to ransom. I look forward to your response. Accept my esteemed regards
